Hi! I'm Mikayla.
I am a graphic designer specialising in brand identity, publication, and illustration.
I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, and various other Creative Cloud applications. I pride myself on my diverse illustrative skill-set and am accomplished in a wide variety of analogue illustration and image-making mediums. These include (but are in no ways limited to) ink drawing, painting, spray painting, photography, collage, sculpting, and more.
My clients include small businesses and start-ups, publishing companies, independent artists and musicians, tech companies, and other Australian-based businesses.
I have been running Cairney Designs independently since 2018, and look forward to seeing how my business grows in future years.
My skills also include those within the marketing genre, having spent almost four years working as part of the marketing team for the Australian labour hire specialists, MC Labour Services. In this role I managed social media profiles for the company, and was a primary copywriter for their website, EDMs, and other written artifacts.
I completed a Bachelor of Design (Communication) at RMIT University in 2021.
I completed a Diploma of Graphic Design through RMIT University in 2018.
