Logo design for ADAPT Loddon Malleeā€™s Youth Climate Network.

The brief was to develop a unique logo that would reflect the groups focus on nature and climate change, while appealing to a young audience.
The final brand mark was designed to reflect the ideas of community and nature. Community is reflected through the appearance of two people with linked arms. Nature is reflected through the appearance of a landscape or a flower. Youth Climate Network is represented through the interlinking letters YCN.

The colours lavender, lime green, and yellow were selected as they promote a positive and joyful feeling, appeal to a younger demographic, and are natural colours that visually represent the idea of a healthy planet.

I focused on creating a design that reflects the themes of climate and nature and is youth-focused/inviting to a young demographic. I wanted to develop a unique, identifiable design that would most importantly appeal to the target demographic - Gen Z.
